NFL Sunday betting tips & odds | Week 12 preview
The NFL season continues this Sunday (Monday AEDT) with 11 games, headlined by a clash between the 49ers and the Packers. Here are our best bets across the slate for NFL Week 12.
Detroit Lions v Indianapolis Colts
As a part of the most dynamic offense in the NFL, Lions pair David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs have been unstoppable in the backfield. The two have combined for 19 touchdowns already and have both scored in the same game on five out of 10 occasions. The Colts are a bottom-five rushing defense, so take both Montgomery and Gibbs to find the endzone once again at +200 with leading online bookmakers.
David Montgomery + Jahmyr Gibbs anytime touchdown
New England Patriots v Miami Dolphins
While the likes of Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and De’Von Achane receive plenty of attention in the Miami offense, another player to watch is tight end Jonnu Smith. The former Falcon has been in excellent form lately, receiving over five targets in five of his last six games. Coming off a career-high 101 yards last Sunday, back Smith to continue his strong catching form.
Jonnu Smith 5+ receptions
Minnesota Vikings v Chicago Bears
With a record of 8-2, the Vikings have been the surprise of the season so far, thanks largely to the form of quarterback Sam Darnold. He is top five in the NFL for passing touchdowns and has thrown for multiple touchdowns in three of the last four weeks. The Bears have lost four in a row, so expect Darnold to continue finding his receivers in the endzone.
Sam Darnold 2+ passing touchdowns
Denver Broncos v Las Vegas Raiders
Coming off a dominant 38-6 win over the Falcons last Sunday, the Broncos should be confident of continuing their playoff push against the struggling Raiders. Las Vegas have lost their past six matches, including a 16-point loss to Denver. Broncos quarterback Bo Nix continues to improve each week, while they have a top-three defense, so back them to cover the boosted line of -10.5 points at +180 with top sports betting sites.
Denver Broncos -10.5
San Francisco 49ers v Green Bay Packers
Despite the 49ers’ mixed form this season, tight end George Kittle has been a standout. With seven touchdowns, the 31-year-old has more touchdowns than any other tight end. Averaging over six targets per game, Kittle will almost certainly get the opportunities in the redzone for the 49ers.
George Kittle anytime touchdown
Philadelphia Eagles v Los Angeles Rams
In a clash between two of the form teams in the NFL, the Eagles head to Los Angeles looking for their seventh straight win. Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts has been exceptional, particularly on the ground, scoring nine rushing touchdowns in the last five weeks. With the Rams conceding over 20 points in each of the last four weeks, Hurts offers great value at +550 for two or more touchdowns.
Jalen Hurts 2+ touchdowns
