NBL Round 12 betting predictions, top odds & value bets
The 2021/22 NBL season has been filled with COVID postponements, rescheduled matches and inconsistent fixtures, but this weekend will see all 10 franchises take to the court.
Coming off last season’s championship, Melbourne United ($3.30) lead the way in the 2021/22 NBL outright betting, whilst the Perth Wildcats – last year’s runners-up – are not far behind at $3.40.
Here is a look at the best bets on offer in the NBL this weekend, with odds courtesy of Sportsbet.
Illawarra Hawks vs Cairns Taipans
Friday, February 18 at 7:30pm AEDT – WIN Entertainment Centre, Sydney
There has not been much to cheer about this season for fans of the Cairns Taipans, who currently sit 10th in the standings with a 3-6 record. The Hawks have improved quickly this season, sitting level with the Sydney Kings at $6.50 to win this year’s title. Tyler Harvey should lead the Hawks to another win at home, but only if they can keep Tahjere McCall’s impact to a minimum.
Illawarra Hawks -5.5
South East Melbourne Phoenix vs Brisbane Bullets
Saturday, February 19 at 5:30pm AEDT – John Cain Arena, Melbourne
Coming off a loss against Melbourne United on Thursday night, South East Melbourne Phoenix will host the Brisbane Bullets at John Cain Arena. SEM Phoenix will be coming off just one day of rest before they front up against the Bullets, but that may be more than enough time considering the Bullets are 1-4 away from home.
South East Melbourne Phoenix to win
Sydney Kings vs Perth Wildcats
Saturday, February 19 at 8:00pm AEDT – Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney
Saturday’s main event will see the Sydney Kings host the Perth Wildcats in a massive top-four clash. Although the Kings sit second in the standings, their record is not very impressive at 8-7, whilst the Wildcats have registered as many wins in just 12 contests. We like the outsiders on this occasion, as the Wildcats will be eager to win following their close loss against United last round.
Perth Wildcats to win
