Week Two of the NFL season is here, and there is a treat for NFL fans with two Monday Night Football games on the schedule. Two divisional battles will take place this Monday, and we have picks for each game. Two divisional battles will take place this Monday, and we have the betting preview and top tips for each game.
Carolina Panthers vs New Orleans Saints preview
Although both teams didn’t have a strong performance in Week One, the Saints managed to secure a win against a Tennessee Titans team. The impressive aspect of their victory was their defensive showing. Now they face a rookie quarterback who had some struggles in his NFL debut.
While we believe Bryce Young has potential as a quarterback for the Carolina Panthers in the future, he still needs time to adjust to the level. Additionally, his supporting cast of playmakers is currently lacking in quality.
We anticipate that the Saints will assert their dominance defensively and earn their first victory of the season.
New Orleans Saints -3
Chris Olave is undoubtedly one of the top receivers in the NFL now, and although the Panthers defence is strong overall, they don’t possess an elite cornerback who can effectively match up against Olave.
In Week One, against the Titans, Olave showcased his skills by making eight catches for 112 yards, displaying his potential. He’s the target, for QB Derek Carr and will be closely watched in this game. Bet on him to score at odds of +175 with the top bookmakers and witness the second year receiver continue to make a name for himself in the league.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns preview
Both of these teams had similar expectations coming into the 2023–2024 season. However, they both had completely different outcomes in Week One.
The Steelers suffered a 23-point defeat, whereas the Browns secured a 20-point victory. However, we won’t overreact to that sample size and will favour the home team in this matchup.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are better than they showed last week. Although the Browns could be a formidable team, we’ll take the points in what should be a tightly contested battle.
Pittsburgh Steelers +2.5
One significant observation from Week One is that, like last year, the Steelers struggle with their rushing defense.
Here comes Nick Chubb, one of the league’s premier running backs. The Steelers were torn apart on the opening weekend, conceding 188 yards and a touchdown.
Chubb, a playmaker, should have success dominating their defensive line. The experienced runner has managed to score 10 touchdowns in every season where he remained injury-free and played 15 or more games.
It is highly likely that he will secure his first touchdown of the season during this Monday Night game.
