Matt McGillivray to make riding comeback
Matt McGillivray is set to make his return from a month-long suspension with a solid book of rides on Friday.
McGillivray was sent out for his controversial ride on Ef Troop in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on January 13.
Stewards found McGillivray caused severe interference to several runners on the first turn.
At the time McGillivray was in career-best form having ridden 61-1/2 winners, including 36 metropolitan victories for the season.
He has four rides at Ipswich on Friday including promising first starter Boomsara for trainer Chris Munce.

Boomsara is yet another youngster by first season sire Spirit Of Boom and is raced by a Eureka Stud syndicate.
McGillivray will also ride Never In Doubt and Ercolano for Ef Troop’s trainer Tony Gollan.
His other ride is on Peter and Will Hulbert’s promising Excelebrazoine.
“I am keen to get back into race riding and re-establish myself,” McGillivray said.
The Ipswich metropolitan standard meeting was transferred from Wednesday to Friday because of heat concerns.
