Liverpool star Mohamed Salah receives €150 Million offer from Al Ittihad

Reports suggest that Liverpool star Mohamed Salah, has received an offer of €150 million from Saudi Arabian team Al Ittihad.

If he accepts this offer, the Egyptian winger will join the league of paid footballers in the world alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar. According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes Al Ittihad is ready to pay €150 million to secure Salah’s services from Liverpool.

Additionally, they are willing to provide him with a salary of €20 million per year, which would position him among the top earners globally. Since his arrival at Liverpool from Roma in 2017, Salah has been one of the top goal scorers in the Premier League.

With a record of 156 goals in 254 appearances for the Reds, he played a role in their triumphs in various competitions such as the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup. In recent months, there have been speculations linking Salah with moves away from Liverpool.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are rumoured to be interested in signing him.

However, it seems that Al Ittihad has emerged as the frontrunner to secure his signature. Should Salah make a move to Al Ittihad, it would undoubtedly be considered an achievement for the club. The Egyptian football player is widely recognised globally.

His decision to join the Saudi Pro League would greatly enhance its reputation. Furthermore, signing him would require a commitment, from Al Ittihad.

The proposed transfer fee of €150 million would mark a record for the soccer club, and Salah’s salary alone would be a significant expenditure. Nevertheless, Al Ittihad appears to have confidence in the returns on this investment.

The club firmly believes that Salah’s presence would boost their chances of winning the Saudi Pro League and competing in the Asian Champions League. Only time will reveal whether Salah will accept Al Ittihad’s offer.

However, it is evident that the Saudi club is genuinely determined to secure his services, and they are willing to make a commitment to ensure it happens.

Salah has been in excellent form for Liverpool this season, scoring 20 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions. He is currently the Premier League’s leading scorer with 15 goals.

Al-Ittihad is currently second in the Saudi Pro League, two points behind leader Al-Hilal.

The club has won the Saudi Pro League eight times, most recently in 2020–21. The Asian Champions League is the premier club competition in Asian football. Al-Ittihad has won the competition twice, in 2004 and 2005.
