Unbeaten in their past five home matches, they welcome struggling Rayo Vallecano, who have just one win in their last ten. Looking for extra value, look for Real Sociedad to comfortably get the job done, as they hold the second-worst attack in the league scoreless.

Las Palmas vs Real Madrid

Sunday, January 28 – 2:15am AEDT – Estadio de Gran Canaria

Narrowly avoiding a scare when facing last-placed Almeria last weekend, Real Madrid will be looking for a more complete performance as they head to the Canary Islands. Despite their incredibly impressive season so far, Las Palmas should be no match for the title challengers. In particular, keep an eye out for Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr., who is their most dangerous threat up forward.

Barcelona vs Villarreal

Following their dramatic win over Real Betis last weekend, Barcelona have jumped back into third place. Facing a Villarreal side on the brink of the relegation zone, Barcelona will need to be wary of an upset. It was 4-3 between the sides earlier this season, and with the Villarreal attack providing plenty of threat, look to pair the top bookie favourites Barcelona, with both sides to get on the board.

Mallorca vs Real Betis

Coming off an upset win over Girona in the Copa del Rey during the week, Mallorca will be full of confidence as they welcome Real Betis. The two sides with the most draws in La Liga expect another close encounter here as Mallorca are unbeaten in their last ten home games, while Betis haven’t lost to Mallorca in their last nine meetings.

Celta Vigo vs Girona

Monday, January 29 – 12:00am AEDT – Abanca Balaidos

Still sitting at the top of the table despite the chasing Real Madrid, Girona will look to continue their winning form as they head to Vigo this weekend. Sitting on the verge of the relegation zone, Celta should struggle here, with their lack of attacking threat proving problematic.

Cadiz vs Athletic Club

Monday, January 29 – 2:15am AEDT – Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla

After their exciting 4-2 victory over Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey during the week, Athletic Club now have to revert their focus back to their top four hunt as they head to Cadiz. In the relegation zone and winless in their past ten matches, Cadiz’s struggles look set to continue here. Winners of the past four matches between the sides, back Athletic Club to get the win here.

Sevilla vs Osasuna

In the midst of a horror campaign, 17th-placed Sevilla have struggled to find any form as they have just one win at home all season. Facing Osasuna, who have just one defeat in their past six La Liga matches, Sevilla needs a rapid turn in form if they are going to compete here. Undefeated in the past five encounters between the sides, backing the visitors here is a great bet.

Atletico Madrid vs Valencia

Sitting on the edge of the top four, Atletico Madrid are under immense pressure from the chasing pack as they need to keep winning matches. Welcoming the dangerous Valencia, Atletico needs to be careful as they are on a four-match winning streak, including over top-four rival Athletic Club last weekend. Getafe vs Granada

Wrapping up Matchday 22, the 19th placed Granada head to Madrid to face Getafe. With a terrible defensive record, Granada have also struggled recently in attack, going scoreless in their past three matches. After losing three of their past four in all competitions, Getafe look set to return to winning ways here as they chase a top-half finish.
