Las Palmas vs Atletico Madrid
Saturday, November 4 – 7am AEDT – Estadio Gran Canaria
Winning three of their last four league matches, Las Palmas have risen to 10th in La Liga after struggling to score earlier in the season. However, this weekend they face third-placed Atletico Madrid, who have the best goal difference in La Liga. Look out for Atletico striker Alvaro Morata, who led the side to a 2-1 win last week with a goal and an assist.

Osasuna vs Girona
Sunday, November 5 – 12am AEDT – Estadio El Sadar
The high-flying Girona will look to continue their winning ways when they travel to Pamplona to take on Osasuna. Sitting in 11th, Osasuna have been unconvincing so far this season, as they have alternated wins and losses in their last five games. Girona should be too strong, as their fluid attacking style creates constant chances.
Girona to win
Real Betis vs Mallorca
Sunday, November 5 – 2:15am AEDT – Estadio Benito Villamarin
Saved by a 94th-minute winner last weekend, Betis will be looking to continue their push towards the top six with a win over 16th-placed Mallorca this weekend. Winless in their last six matches, Mallorca face a tough task once again as they travel to Seville. Back Betis to show their class with a win at home.
Real Betis to win
Celta Vigo vs Sevilla
Saturday, November 5 – 4:30am AEDT – Abanca-Balaidos
Stuck in 18th place with just one win so far this season, Celta Vigo will be looking for vital points against a struggling Sevilla side. Drawing three of their last four matches, Sevilla have not been able to capitalise on their opportunities, as they regularly find themselves giving up an early lead. Against a Celta side that has only scored 10 goals this season, Sevilla should be too strong.
Sevilla to win
Real Sociedad vs Barcelona
Sunday, November 4 – 7am AEDT – Reale Arena
After suffering a disappointing last-minute loss in El Clasico last weekend, defending champions Barcelona have now slipped to fourth on the table and face another challenging matchup against Real Sociedad. The Basque outfit has had an excellent start to the season and poses a real threat of an upset this weekend. In the best match of the round, expect a close contest between two high-scoring teams.

Deportivo Alaves vs Almeria
Monday, November 6 – 12am AEDT – Estadio de Mendizorroza
Two sides entrenched in a relegation battle face off this weekend as last-placed Almeria travel to take on Deportivo Alaves. In a case of Alaves’ terrible attack coming up against Almeria’s leaky defence, this match could go either way.
Draw
Valencia vs Granada
Monday, November 6 – 2:15pm AEDT – Estadio de Mestalla
With five points from their last three matches, Valencia will be full of confidence as they host the struggling Granada. Having conceded 28 goals already this season, Granada will need to put in a vastly improved defensive effort, or their eight-match winless run will continue.
Valencia to win
Villarreal vs Athletic Club
Monday, November 6 – 4:30am AEDT – Estadio de la Ceramica
With one of the most imposing attacks in La Liga, Athletic Club will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend as they head south to face Villarreal. Traditionally challengers for the top six, Villarreal have been unimpressive so far this season, posting just three wins. With the home-ground advantage, expect the Yellow Submarine to put in an improved effort in a close matchup.
Draw
Real Madrid vs Rayo Vallecano
Monday, November 6 – 7am AEDT – Estadio Santiago Bernabeu
Sitting in first place, Real Madrid welcome local rivals Rayo Vallecano to the Bernabeu as they look to continue their excellent start to the season. After his heroics in last week’s Clasico, Real midfielder Jude Bellingham – who has scored five times in his last four Liga matches – will be looking to add to his league-leading goal tally.

Getafe vs Cadiz
Tuesday, November 7 – 7am AEDT – Estadio Coliseum
Wrapping up Matchday 12, Cadiz head to Madrid to face Getafe in a mid-table clash. After drawing their past five league matches, Getafe will be looking for a win to create some space between themselves and the relegation zone. Cadiz are also looking to move away from the bottom places as they search for their first win in eight matches.
