Thanasi Kokkinakis takes on Nuno Borges in the second round of the US Open this Thursday in New York, with the Aussie riding a high after an upset of the No. 11 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the first round.
Borges has been a solid player for much of this year, expanding on his clay prowess to deliver some impressive hard-court performances.
However, as evident from his playstyle, the Portuguese is not the most natural fit on the surface.
