Kissick out for a year with back fracture
Country NSW jockey John Kissick will be out of the saddle for 12 months after he broke his back when he fell from a steer.
The Southern Districts-based rider fractured his T-12 vertebra when he fell heavily on his head on Monday.
Kissick told Racing NSW’s Maurice Logue he has movement in all his limbs, but would be sidelined for at least a year.
