In Her Time confirmed for Hong Kong sprint
Brenton Avdulla has been booked to ride In Her Time in the Hong Kong International Sprint.
Brenton Avdulla has been booked to ride dual Group One winner In Her Time in the Hong Kong International Sprint at Sha Tin.
Trainer Kris Lees confirmed Avdulla would partner the mare in the 1200m feature after riding her at her past two starts in The Everest and Darley Classic.
In Her Time finished third to Nature Strip in the Darley Classic and travelled back to her Newcastle base in good order, prompting Lees to press on with plans for the Hong Kong race on December 8.

“She seems good and she will have her main gallop next week some time,” Lees said.
The political and social unrest in Hong Kong has led to the cancellation of two race meetings at inner-city Happy Valley in recent months, but with Sha Tin located outside the main metropolis, the annual International meeting is expected to go ahead.
In Her Time will be Lees’ first runner at the meeting since Lucia Valentina who finished fifth in the 2015 Hong Kong Cup (2000m).
The overseas sojourn will cap a busy few weeks for top Sydney jockey Avdulla, who travels to Western Australia this weekend to ride Tellem We’re Comin in the Group One Railway Stakes (1600m) at Ascot.
