Hauraki to jump from wide barrier in Epsom

Epsom Handicap favourite Hauraki has drawn a wide barrier in the Group One race at Randwick.

The Godolphin runner will start from gate 10 of 13 in Saturday’s 1600m-race with topweight, the Darren Weir-trained Palentino, alongside him in nine.

Sons Of John, third in last year’s Epsom, starts from the outside while Happy Clapper has drawn the rail.
