Harlem defends Australian Cup, G1 for Kah

Harlem has recorded back-to-back Australian Cups at Flemington in a history-making ride for jockey Jamie Kah.

Formerly based in South Australia, Kah saluted at Group One level for the first time and became the first female jockey to win the $1.5 million weight-for-age race over 2000m. Shillelagh was second ahead of Trap For Fools.

“I came over here to seize opportunities, I didn’t expect it so soon,” Kah said.
