F1 Italian Grand Prix 2024 betting tips, top odds & predictions

Returning from the action-filled Dutch Grand Prix (GP), round 16 of the Formula 1 schedule will be underway this weekend as we head to Monza with the Italian GP.

It kicks off with Free Practice 1 at 10:30pm AEST GMT on Friday, August 30, while the race is on at 12:00am AEST Monday, September 2.

Just after resuming from the summer break, we can see both the Constructors Championship and Drivers Championship under pressure from Team McLaren and Lando Norris, who took out Zandvoort by a whopping 22.8 seconds.

Red Bull Racing are still sitting in 1st in the Constructors Championship with 434 points, but McLaren is closely behind with 404 points and slowly gaining.

McLaren are looking to close the gap with Max Verstappen in the Drivers Championship, with Lando Norris on 225 points after his last win and Australian teammate Oscar Piastri on 179 points.

After Zandvoort, it seems to be all McLaren who have the fastest car without a doubt and is their Constructors to lose.

Following Zandvoort to no surprise, we see Lando Norris the odds-on favourite, beating the best driver this decade by 22.8 seconds, making a very bold statement for the rest of the season.

After a poor result for Mercedes, we see some great value from a team that will be looking to improve largely, while the strong performance from Charles Leclerc sees his odds plummet for a win.
