F1 Brazil GP betting preview, racing tips & odds | Formula 1
Set for Round 21 of the Formula 1 (F1) schedule, the Brazilian Grand Prix returns as the spotlight event following yet another Ferrari masterclass in the Mexico GP.
It kicks off with Free Practice 1 at 1:30am AEDT on Saturday, November 2, while the race is set for 4am AEDT on Monday, November 4.
The 2024 Formula 1 season is drawing to a close with just four races remaining.
A fiercely competitive Constructors’ Championship battle is unfolding among Red Bull (512 points), Ferrari (537 points) and McLaren (566 points).
The Drivers’ Championship remains hotly contested as well, with Charles Leclerc (291 points), Lando Norris (315 points) and Max Verstappen (362 points) vying for top spot.
Unfortunately for Red Bull, the Mexico GP was one to forget, with hometown favourite Sergio Perez coming dead last and Verstappen missing the podium after copping a pair of 10-second penalties.
Ferrari are making a late surge into the Constructors’ Championship race and heaping the pressure on McLaren, who now have little room for error in the remaining races.
Oscar Piastri’s recent struggles have placed the weight on Lando Norris; however, expect the Australian to re-enter the competitive mix in this race.
Verstappen has all but secured the Drivers’ Championship, as Norris needs to make up some 47 points in the space of four races. We can expect a bit more out of the Red Bull superstar this weekend as he chases his fourth title in a row.

Brazil GP 2024 betting predictions
Liam Lawson (VCARB) points finish
Disregard the Mexico Grand Prix; Liam Lawson was on track to score points and looked dangerous with some very good battles. He was unlucky not to get a second run in Q2 with Yuki Tsunoda crashing. We will likely see Lawson in Q3 this time and scoring some solid points, with Bet365 paying +200 for a points finish.
Liam Lawson points finish
Franco Colapinto (Williams) points finish
Franco Colapinto has been a very consistent scorer since arriving at Williams, and with no seat secured for next year, he will be gunning to show teams that he can be just as good as all the rest.
Franco Colapinto points finish
Lando Norris (McLaren) to win
With everything on the line for him and the team, Norris can only look to win and score very high points. After overtaking Leclerc late in the race, it showed McLaren can fight with the hot Ferrari team. If Piastri manages to start in the front row with Norris, he will hold everyone back and create enough room for his teammate to win.
