Everest judges looking for blue and white
Everest racegoers may be wishing for clear skies come Saturday but blue and white will also be on the mind of the race day’s fashion judges.
Celebrity Milliner Viktoria Novak will have the day’s theme, blue and white, in mind when it comes to judging the Harrolds Fashion Chute competition.
“I’m looking for someone who is polished, from head to toe, everything thought out,” Novak told AAP.
“It will be interesting to see how the theme is used, blue has so many shades.”
Novak says there will be no guesswork when it comes down to choosing the winner.
“When you know you know – it just stands out.”

Other judges include Harrolds Buyer Kathleen Buscema, Vogue Editor Edwina McCann and Cerrone Jewellers Founder Nic Cerrone.
Harrolds Assistant Womenswear Buyer Roshali Kaul says fashionistas have a broad range of trends to choose from this year.
“I think there will be an element of luxury with bold prints, metallics, monochrome, anti-floral, baby doll and Italian glamour all key trends,” she told AAP.
“People are having a lot more fun with their choices.”
For the men, it’s all about standing out with a unique pocket square or lapel and white rose as the suggested flower.
The competition will be open to both men and women.
