EPL Matchweek 13 betting tips & top odds – Saturday, October 22
After a midweek slate, the English Premier League returns this weekend with all teams in action. We have 10 games scheduled for Matchweek 13 with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea all in action this Saturday (UK time). We have free betting picks for those games and more, with odds courtesy of Marantelli Bet.
Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool
Darwin Nuñez has been subject to a lot of criticism following a slow start to his EPL career, but he appears to be turning it around. Until recently, Nuñez only had two goals for Liverpool, but he has now scored twice in as many games. It feels like he has finally found his footing within the squad and the Uruguayan is showing the finishing talent that made him such a hot commodity over the summer transfer window. In this game against Nottingham Forest, Nuñez should have plenty of chances to end up on the scoresheet. At -115, we are backing an in-form striker for a team that should win convincingly.

Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Man City finally had their first loss of the season last weekend, going down against Liverpool in a match where tempers flared on and off the pitch. Despite being the better team for much of the contest, City couldn’t finish their chances, and they should be motivated to bounce back from that result. That would be a problem for whoever City played, but considering Brighton’s struggles, this game could get ugly. After a hot start, Brighton have faltered in recent fixtures and now only have two points through their last four games. We expect City to dominate at home and show they once again are the team to beat in the Premier League. While this bet will only hit if City win by two or more goals, they are definitely capable of piling it on and that should happen in this fixture.
Manchester City -2
Chelsea vs Manchester United
This is a very important game between two prestigious clubs, but it may not be the most interesting to watch. Both teams are playing great defensively, conceding just one goal each in their last three Premier League matches. This projects to be a testy affair where neither team will overcommit and give up counter-attacking opportunities. Both Chelsea and United are fighting for a top-four finish and this game will be massively important in that race. Because of what’s at stake, the under holds all the value.
Under 2.5 total goals
Man United anytime goalscorer: Bruno Fernandes
After a tough start to the season, Bruno Fernandes finally scored a goal for United in their clash with Tottenham last time out. While that is only his second goal in 10 Premier League matches, we feel this may lead to an improvement in his form. Also, Cristiano Ronaldo will not be playing in this match and that will leave Fernandes as United’s most capable penalty-taker. Due to that, this is a great value bet, even if it is a little bit of a longshot.
