Wolverhampton will host Crystal Palace at Molineux Stadium this Tuesday night, with both teams winning two of their last three Premier League games. Wolves are coming off a 1-2 loss at Leicester on the weekend after winning their last two home games over Chelsea and Brentford. While Palace are unbeaten in their last four matches, after sharing the points with Everton at home on the weekend. The Eagles have won the last four meetings between these two, including a 1-0 victory at Molineux last season. Wolves are a much better team at home and Palace have only let in two goals during their unbeaten run, so a draw appears to be the most likely result.

Aston Villa will return home on Tuesday night to host Fulham, as they look to extend their nine-match unbeaten run and return to winning ways after playing out a 1-all draw with Brentford on Saturday. Villa have won their last four home games, scoring nine and conceding none. Fulham ended their losing streak last weekend, and they are now on their own two-match winning streak after recording back-to-back wins over Everton (3-1) and Leeds (2-1). After Tottenham’s massive loss on Sunday afternoon, a win for Villa could see them jump into the top five and push for a European spot, and that’s what we expect to happen here.

The lone-relegation zone clash for this set of mid-week matches will be played at Elland Road, where Leeds United will host Leicester with both teams sitting just outside the drop zone, but nowhere close to safety. Leeds are one of the most out of form teams in the Premier League at the moment, losing four of their last five matches and conceding 18 goals across those fixtures. Meanwhile, Leicester are struggling with their own form, as they won their first game in their last 10. We anticipate a high scoring affair, so we will be backing the both teams to score into over 2.5 goals double.

As every week goes by at the back end of the Premier League season, Nottingham Forest appears to be running out of steam and slipping further down the table. The second-bottom placed team have lost their last four matches to Leeds, Aston Villa, Manchester United and Liverpool, and their next match against Brighton won’t be any easier. Brighton will be on the road for a fourth week in a row, looking for third win after recording a 2-1 victory over Chelsea on April 15. Brighton is in great form and Forest are not, we expect the Seagulls to get the job done convincingly here.

One of the most intriguing Premier League teams currently is that of Chelsea. Since sacking their coach after a 0-2 loss to Aston Villa at home three games back, the Blues are still struggling with Frank Lampard at the helm. Lampard is yet to lead his beloved Blues to a win since taking over as coach. Chelsea have recorded back-to-back defeats at the hand of Wolves and Brighton and a Champions League exit mid-week at the hands of Real Madrid. Meanwhile Brentford are also in a rut, losing three of their last five against Manchester United, Newcastle and Wolves. It is hard to tip any team in this match with confidence, so instead we will back the ever-reliable Ivan Toney to find the back of the net for his 20th goal this season.

The London Stadium will play host to another intriguing fixture on Wednesday night, with an invigorated West Ham United hosting Liverpool. Both teams on unbeaten runs of their own, with the Hammers unbeaten in their last three matches and the Reds unbeaten in their last four. West Ham are coming off a 4-0 thrashing off Bournemouth on Sunday, while Liverpool scraped by Nottingham Forest on Saturday 3-2, thanks to a Diogo Jota brace just after half-time. The last two meetings between these teams finished in 1-0 wins for the Reds, so we expect another tight contest on Wednesday night.

The final match of our preview on Wednesday night will feature league leaders Arsenal and second-placed Manchester City, who will battle it out in the middle of Etihad Stadium. Arsenal have been atop of the Premier League since the opening weeks of the season, but have started to stumble, dropping points from winnable positions in their last three matches against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton. City sit five points behind the Gunners on the table with two games in hand, so with a win in this fixture, City will close the gap to two points. City are unbeaten in their last nine matches, including a massive 3-1 win over Arsenal eight games ago. Whoever takes all three points on Wednesday night, will go into the final weeks of the season as the favourites to take out the title.
