English Premier League betting preview & top bets | 1/1 – 2/1
The English Premier League rolls on this Sunday and Monday as we will have three games over the course of those two days. While many of the big clubs will play on Saturday we still will see Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool during these matches. We are approaching the halfway point of the season and these games are starting to matter more and more. Here are our best picks for the three games.
Tottenham vs Aston Villa
Despite a poor soccer World Cup showing, Harry Kane is still dominating for Tottenham and he is second in the league in goals. Kane is in the midst of yet another great season and now, he is up to 12 goals in 15 Premier League games. As long as his odds stay around this range, we will continue betting on the Spurs talisman. The 29-year-old has scored in three straight Premier League games and we believe, against a porous Aston Villa defense, he will bring that tally to four.

Nottingham Forest vs Chelsea
This is a very short line but we think Chelsea should dominate in this game. Simply put, Nottingham Forest is a mess and in all likelihood, they will get relegated when the season is over. Through 16 games, Forest have 11 goals for and 33 goals against. That is a horrific record and it goes to show how inferior this squad is compared to the rest of the Premier League. Chelsea are having a mess of a season and are sat in eighth place, but this is a winnable game. Chelsea came out of the international break with a big win against a bad Bournemouth team and we think they will do the same in this spot.
Chelsea FC To Win
Brentford vs Liverpool
In this week’s Monday battle, we have an interesting contest between 10th place Brentford and sixth place Liverpool. This is going to be a fun, attacking contest between two teams who will genuinely feel like they can win this game. That being said, we think Liverpool will come away victorious and a lot of that is due to one man, Mohamed Salah. While he had a slow start to the season, Salah has five goals in his last five Premier League matches and it appears like Liverpool are making more of an effort to feed their best player in the box. And he is delivering. Brentford have conceded 27 goals in 16 games and this should be another game where they are on the back foot for most of the 90 minutes. Take Salah to score as he should be peppered with balls in dangerous areas against a very beatable defense.
Mohamed Salah Anytime Goalscorer
