Parramatta Eels vs Wests Tigers NRL match preview
Round four of the 2024 NRL Premiership wraps up on Monday with the Eels hosting the Wests Tigers at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta.
The Parramatta Eels are coming off a controversial win against the Sea Eagles and will need to navigate the next three months without halfback Mitchell Moses. The Tigers come into this match with plenty of momentum after a brilliant win against the Sharks at Leichhardt Oval last Saturday.
Eels head coach Brad Arthur has named Dylan Brown at halfback for the Eels, shifting Blaize Talagi to the five-eighth position, Morgan Harper to the centres and welcoming back Maika Sivo on the wing. Bryce Cartwright has been named to start in the second row despite reports of broken ribs and could be replaced late by Ryan Matterson or Kelma Tuilagi.
Wests Tigers head coach Benji Marshall has made just one change with Asu Kepaoa being named to replace Alex Twal.

Eels vs Tigers NRL betting predictions
Odds for the Eels to win on Monday have drifted significantly ($1.25-$1.48) following the loss of halfback Moses from the side. Meanwhile, the Tigers have been supported from as far as $4 to $2.55. Although the Eels have won nine of the last 10 matches against the Tigers, coach Benji Marshall has begun to make positive changes at the club where he won their only premiership. The Tigers are a great value bet to secure an upset win ($2.65) over the Eels on Easter Monday.
Jahream Bula had a brilliant match against the Sharks last weekend with five tackle breaks, a line break, and two tries. He showed in 2023 that scoring tries in attacking shape in no issue for him, as he did last week, but Bula can also score through his support play following the ball. On Monday, Bula should be able to score another try at any time during the game ($2.90).
Justin Olam had an incredible debut for the Tigers last weekend, scoring a try with two line breaks, four tackle breaks, and running for 184m. Few centres in the game can stop a rampaging Olam, who has also scored in each of his last three matches in New South Wales. Expect Olam to find the in-goal area again to score a try ($3.45) at great value for the punters with the leading bookmakers.
