Cam Smith, Min Woo Lee tussling for Australian PGA favouritism
Golf betting sites are finding it hard to split Cameron Smith and Min Woo Lee ahead of the 2024 Australian PGA Championship, which kicks off at Royal Queensland this Thursday.
Top bookie Bet365 has Smith at the head of outright betting at $8.50, with Lee at $9 to defend his title.
Smith is chasing his fourth Australian PGA Championship win, having won at Royal Pines in 2017 and 2018 before reclaiming the crown in 2022 at Royal Queensland.
Former world No.1 Jason Day is next in the market at $10.50 ahead of his first tournament start in Australia for seven years.
Also in the mix is Lucas Herbert, who comes in at $12 after an impressive win in the NSW Open at Murray Downs last weekend.
Smith’s LIV Golf teammate Marc Leishman is a $13 chance, while Cameron Davis ($16) rounds out the top six in the market.
