Bundesliga Matchday 26 preview, betting tips & top odds
The 2023/24 Bundesliga season continues this weekend with nine matches before we head into the international break. Here are our free soccer betting tips for Matchday 26.
FC Koln vs RB Leipzig

Sitting just one point behind Borussia Dortmund in a top-four battle, RB Leipzig head to Koln this weekend searching for their third consecutive win. After beating FC Koln 6-0 earlier this season, the fifth-placed side are heavily favoured with Bundesliga betting sites despite playing on the road. However, they have not kept a clean sheet in an away match since September.

Borussia Monchengladbach’s disappointing season continued during the week as they were knocked out of the German Cup by third-division side Saarbrucken. With just one win from their past nine matches, they head to Heidenheim this weekend to face another out-of-form side in a mid-table clash. While ‘Gladbach won the reverse fixture 3-1, given their current form this match is expected to be much closer.

After their embarrassing 8-1 defeat to Bayern Munich last weekend, 17th-placed FSV Mainz will be looking for a much-improved performance this weekend as they welcome VfL Bochum. Another relegation contender, Bochum are on a three-match losing streak while holding the second-worst defensive record in the Bundesliga. While neither side have shown much form lately, Bochum have scored in every match so far in 2024, while each of the past four matches between the sides have gone over the total goals line.

Union Berlin vs Werder Bremen

Sitting just outside the relegation zone, Union Berlin are looking to break their three-match winless streak this weekend as they welcome Werder Bremen. Similarly out-of-form, the visitors have struggled in recent weeks due to the unavailability of their first choice defence due to injury. While Werder Bremen have been the better side throughout this season, they have lost five of the past six against between the sides and come in as substantial underdogs with Bundesliga bookmakers.

Wolfsburg vs FC Augsburg

On a run of three straight victories, FC Augsburg have turned their season around in recent weeks, avoiding the relegation scrap. As they head to Wolfsburg this weekend, they face a side on a 10-match winless streak who have struggled to find the back of the net. The visitors also hold a four-match unbeaten streak between the sides, which suggests that they offer great value as +260 underdogs with Marantelli Bet.

Heading to Freiburg this weekend, they will need to be wary of a side that has lost just once in their past seven matches. However, given the visitors undefeated record so far this season, expect them to be far too strong.

Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Locked in a top-four battle with RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund need to keep their winning streak alive this weekend as they welcome the dangerous Eintracht Frankfurt. Unbeaten in their past five Bundesliga matches, Frankfurt have found their groove in attack with 11 goals across that span. After the reverse fixture ended 3-3 earlier this season, expect plenty more goals in this one.
