AFL tips, disposal picks & goalkicker bets | Round 15 preview
The 2025 AFL Premiership season continues this week with seven exciting matchups. Here are our top betting tips for every game of Round 15, with odds from Australia’s best online bookmakers.
Fremantle vs Essendon
Thursday, June 19 – 6:10pm AWST – Optus Stadium
After an embarrassing 95-point loss to Geelong last Saturday, top AFL betting bookies are forecasting another tough week for Essendon in Perth. Fremantle have won their last four games, so don’t expect this one to be close.
Fremantle -30.5
Geelong vs Brisbane
Friday, June 20 – 7:40pm AEST – GMHBA Stadium
In this exciting top-four clash, Geelong will be hoping to continue their excellent form against the inconsistent Brisbane. The Cats will be celebrating captain Patrick Dangerfield’s 350th game, but keep an eye on his teammate Jeremy Cameron. The Coleman Medal leader has kicked five or more goals in four of his last five games, and with Brisbane missing Jack Payne in defence, back Cameron to continue his scoring form.
Jeremy Cameron 4+ goals
Carlton vs North Melbourne
Saturday, June 21 – 1:20pm AEST – MCG
On a two-game winning streak, the Blues are working their way into finals contention. They enter as strong favourites against the 17th-placed North Melbourne, who have lost the last five meetings between the teams. When these sides met in Round 6, it was an 82-point margin; expect a similar result here.
Carlton win by 40+ points
Port Adelaide vs Sydney
Saturday, June 21 – 3:45pm ACST – Adelaide Oval
On a run of two wins post-bye, Port Adelaide will be hoping to continue their good form against the underwhelming Sydney. While the Swans are set to regain some star names, they have not beaten Port at Adelaide Oval since 2015. Expect this game to be close, but the home side should be too strong.
Port Adelaide win by 1-39 points
Collingwood vs St Kilda
Saturday, June 21 – 7:35pm AEST – Marvel Stadium
Sitting on top of the AFL ladder and fresh off their bye, expect Collingwood to continue their excellent form against the struggling St Kilda. Ross Lyon’s side have just one win in their last five, and it is hard to see how their struggling forward line can score against the league-leading Magpies’ defence.
Collingwood -30.5
GWS Giants vs Gold Coast
Sunday, June 22 – 1:10pm AEST – ENGIE Stadium
With both sides at even odds with top Australian betting sites, the ‘Expansion Cup’ might be the game of the round. The Giants are coming off an incredible upset win over the Lions last weekend, while the Suns are riding a two-game losing streak. Given Gold Coast’s known struggles on the road, back GWS to get the job done at home.
GWS to win
Western Bulldogs vs Richmond
Sunday, June 22 – 3:20pm AEST – Marvel Stadium
Coming in at $1.05 with BetOnline, the Western Bulldogs are the biggest favourites of the weekend. They have won three of their last four at Marvel by over 70 points, while they beat the Tigers by 91 last time they met. With little value in anything else, back the Dogs to blow this game out.
Western Bulldogs -59.5
