AFL Round 14 multi – free tips, bonuses & cash-back specials
FINALLY, the dreaded bye weeks are over and we get a full quota of matches to enjoy in round 14 of the season, and this weekend sees several teams clashing in games that have serious finals ramifications.
Essendon and Sydney play on Friday night in a contest that could eliminate the Swans’ finals chances while Collingwood’s season is on the line as they host Port Adelaide on Saturday afternoon at the MCG.
The run home to the finals is officially about to get underway, so strap yourselves in and enjoy the show.
All odds for the 14th week of the AFL season were provided by Sportsbet.com.au, which is offering prospective clients a terrific deal for those who are yet to sign up.

Sydney Swans vs. Essendon Bombers
Friday, June 23 from 7.50 pm AEST, Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney
Two teams that looked dead in the water from a finals perspective less than a month ago meet on Friday night as the Swans host the Bombers at the SCG.
The Swans are flying high after their last-gasp win over the Tigers at the MCG last week. Much was made of yet another Richmond capitulation, but the Swans deserve more credit than that. They were ruthless in the second half and gave the Tigers no breathing room.
The Bombers are fresh off their mid-season bye, but prior to that smashed the Power at Etihad Stadium by ten goals. Anything close to that form on Friday will see them be highly-competitive.
Lance Franklin had a suspension hanging over his head going into this one, but the spearhead escaped a ban, which means he is free to torment a team he has scolded several times in the past.
We are backing the Swans to win in a tight contest on Friday night.
Sydney Swans to win – $1.43
Collingwood Magpies vs. Port Adelaide Power
Saturday, June 24 from 1.45 pm AEST, Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne
A Magpie team in desperate need of a win host the erratic Power in a vital match for both sides.
Collingwood is coming in off its mid-season bye, but prior to that fell away badly in the Queen’s Birthday game against Melbourne. The Pies controlled the majority of the contest, but threw the game away in the dying stages of the match.
The Power bounced back from their shocking defeat at the hands of the Dons to record a comfortable 40-point win over the Lions at home. It was a quality display following a bad defeat, but this week’s match will tell the competition what it needs to know about Port’s premiership credentials.
At full strength Collingwood would be going into this match as favourites, but without live-wire forward Jamie Elliot, the Magpie attack looks somewhat toothless.
We are favouring the Power to take us into the third leg alive and kicking.
Port Adelaide Power to win – $1.87
Western Bulldogs vs. North Melbourne Kangaroos
Saturday, June 23 from 7.25 pm AEST, Etihad Stadium, Melbourne
The reigning premiers are reeling and in dire need of a win, while Brad Scott is not ruling finals out for North Melbourne.
Could this match between the Dogs and the Roos be the bolter for game of the round?
The Bulldogs were battered last week by the Demons under the roof at Etihad Stadium. It was a throwback to the Dogs of three years ago: listless, disorganised and disenchanted. An immediate response is required if they are to mount a late push towards the top four.
Despite sitting 16th on the AFL ladder, Brad Scott has not put a line through his team’s September chances this season. While we think it optimistic, bordering on delusional to think the Roos can make the finals, we admire the coach’s outlook.
Unfortunately for Scott though, this looks like the perfect easy-kill game for the Dogs. A week of soul searching and recriminations will have them breathing fire and we think they will come out and make a statement on Saturday night.
Western Bulldogs to win – -238.1
West Coast Eagles vs. Melbourne Demons
Saturday, June 24 from 7.40 pm AEST, Domain Stadium, Perth
We finish this week’s AFL multi in the west as the Eagles host the Demons at Domain Stadium.
The Eagles are fresh off arguably their win of the season against the Cats. They were consummate professionals across the ground and outworked their opponents in every facet of the game.
Melbourne put together one of their most dominant wins of 2017 under the roof at Etihad after they hammered the reigning premiers to the tune of 57-points. The Dees now currently sit in fifth position and have a realistic shot at finishing top four.
It looms as a crunch match for both sides, but we are favouring the Eagles on their home deck. West Coast seem to grow an extra leg out west and we think they should be able to round out our multi in style – just in time for Saturday night drinks.
West Coast Eagles to win – $1.46
AFL Round 14 Promotions
A full round of footy gave us plenty of options this week after a disappointing bye round block of games, and we are confident that this week’s multi will generate a healthy return.
However, it is always good to have the backing of some bookmaker deals in the kitty in case things go pear-shaped.
WilliamHill.com.au has our backs week-to-week, and that is no different round 14.
Place a four or more legged multi on the AFL this weekend and if your parlay goes down by a solitary leg you will get your stake back in the form of bonus bets up to the value of $50.
Sportsbet.com.au is offering the same multi insurance deal, which means any four or more legged multi that fails this weekend by one match will see your stake returned up to the value of $50 in bonuses.
Sick of your team putting themselves in a strong winning position only to capitulate before the final siren? Never fear, Sportsbet.com.au is paying you out straight away as soon as your team takes a 24-point lead.
Place a head-to-head bet on any match during round 14, and if your team leads by four goals or more at any stage of the match Sportsbet will cash your bet out immediately, regardless of the result.
Line betting more your speed? Ladbrokes.com.au has what you are after.
Ladbrokes is putting up $1.95 lines for every game in round 14 of the AFL season.
