AFL 2024 Premiership odds tighten ahead of preliminary finals
Top AFL betting sites have tightened up their premiership odds ahead of this weekend’s preliminary finals.
The Sydney Swans have firmed from $3 into $2.40 at online bookie Neds after enjoying a week off following their Week 1 victory over the GWS Giants.
Likewise, Geelong have come in slightly from $4 to $3.50 as they prepare to host the Brisbane Lions this Saturday night.
The Lions, meanwhile, have shortened from $7.50 into $4 after their incredible come-from-behind win over the Giants in the semi-finals.
Port Adelaide were paying $15 for the flag following their humiliating defeat to the Cats in Week 1, but they are now at $9 after their nail-biting win over Hawthorn.
The Power are $3.35 outsiders at Bet365 for their clash with the Swans ($1.33) at the SCG this Friday night, although they did thrash the minor premiers by 112 points when they met in round 21.
The betting is much tighter for the other prelim, with Geelong ($1.75) slightly favoured against Brisbane ($2.10) for their matchup at the MCG.
