A-League Round 13: Free betting picks & soccer tips | Jan 10-12
Round 13 of the 2024/25 A-League season kicks off this Friday night with an exciting six-game slate across the weekend. Here are our free betting tips for every game.
Melbourne Victory vs Western United
Friday, 10 January – 7:35pm AEDT – AAMI Park
Winless in their past four games, Melbourne Victory face a tricky clash against Western United. They enter as clear bookmaker favourites, but given United have scored 12 goals in their last five games, expect their defence to be tested. United striker Hiroshi Ibusuki is the player to watch in this game, he leads the club with five goals this season and is the obvious threat to Victory’s goal.
Hiroshi Ibusuki anytime goalscorer
Wellington Phoenix vs Adelaide United
Saturday, 11 January – 5:00pm NZDT – Sky Stadium
Sitting third on the ladder, Adelaide United have been dominant in attack this season, scoring multiple goals in eight of their 10 matches. As they head across to face the struggling Wellington, expect their winning form to continue. They enter as favourites with Marantelli Bet but given they have conceded six goals in their last two games, add both teams to score for extra value.
Adelaide United win / both teams to score
Melbourne City vs Brisbane Roar
Saturday, 11 January – 5:00pm AEDT – AAMI Park
As the second-placed City welcome the last-placed Roar, expect this clash to be heavily one-sided. Melbourne won 4-1 when these sides met earlier this season, so back them to be ahead at both halftime and full time at +140 with top soccer betting sites.
Melbourne City half time / full time
Sydney FC vs Central Coast Mariners
Saturday, 11 January – 7:35pm AEDT – Allianz Stadium
Despite breaking their four-match unbeaten run against the Roar last Friday, expect the Mariners poor form to continue as they head to Sydney. The home side are unbeaten in their last four and hold the second-best attacking record in the A-League. As a result, back Sydney to win with plenty of scoring in the game.
Sydney FC win / over 3.5 goals
Perth Glory vs Auckland FC
Saturday, 11 January – 6:45pm AWST – HBF Park
As the first-placed Auckland FC make the long trip over to Perth, this should be a one-sided clash. Glory have the worst attacking and defensive records in the A-League, so back Auckland to win, keeping another clean sheet at +165 with BetOnline.
Auckland FC win to nil
Newcastle Jets vs Macarthur FC
Sunday, 12 January – 5:00pm AEDT – McDonald Jones Stadium
Coming off a heart-breaking loss to Adelaide United on Monday night, Macarthur FC should be confident of getting back to winning ways against the 11th-placed Newcastle Jets. Macarthur were unbeaten in their previous six games, so back them to be too strong in this clash.
Macarthur FC win
