A-League R6 betting preview, free tips & goalscorer picks
The 2024/25 A-League Men season rolls on this weekend with five matchups across the weekend. Below are our free soccer betting tips for every game of Round 6.
Adelaide United vs Perth Glory
Friday, November 29 – 7:05pm ACDT – Coopers Stadium
As the highest-scoring team in the A-League matches up with the worst defence, Adelaide United enter this week as clear favourites against Perth Glory. United are on a run of three straight wins, while Perth have just one point for the season. However, Adelaide have not kept a clean sheet in their last 14 games, so take both teams to score for some added value.

Auckland FC vs Newcastle Jets
Saturday, November 30 – 5pm NZDT – Go Media Stadium
With four consecutive wins and clean sheets to start their A-League tenure, it has been a perfect start for Auckland FC. Back at home this week, expect that excellent form to continue as the Black Knights welcome the struggling Newcastle Jets. The visitors have scored just four goals this season, so expect Auckland to keep another clean sheet and extend their lead at the top of the table.

Melbourne City vs Western Sydney Wanderers
Saturday, November 30 – 5pm AEDT – AAMI Park
After a convincing 5-0 victory over Perth last Sunday, Melbourne City have now won three of their last four to work their way into the finals places. On the other hand, the Wanderers have just one win and are conceding for fun, with each of their last three matches involving five or more goals. This game should be a shootout, so add over 3.5 goals to boost the odds.

Macarthur FC vs Brisbane Roar
Saturday, November 30 – 7:35pm AEDT – Campbelltown Sports Stadium
It to get any easier this week for the last-placed Brisbane Roar, who head on the road to face Macarthur FC. While the home side have been in mixed form to start the season, they have consistently found the back of the net — particularly thanks to Croatian winger Marin Jakolis. The 27-year-old leads the A-League with four goals this season, and at $3.50 with leading online bookmakers, he offers great value to score once again.

Western United vs Melbourne Victory
Sunday, December 1 – 5pm AEDT – AAMI Park
After suffering their first defeat of the season last Sunday, Melbourne Victory will be keen to get back to winning ways against Victorian rivals Western United. Despite coming off a win, ninth-placed United are clear underdogs for this clash. Victory have kept just one clean sheet in the last four weeks, while United have been held goalless just once this season, so expect both teams to hit the scoreboard.
