Western Sydney Wanderers vs Newcastle Jets

Winless through the first three rounds of the season, the pressure is already on the Wanderers to turn their form around. Scoring hasn’t been a problem, but their leaky defence has cost them in every game. At home they should be too good for the Jets, but as such clear favourites with A-League betting sites, look for added value in both teams to score.

Melbourne Victory vs Brisbane Roar

Unbeaten to start the season, Victory are clear favourites against the last-placed Roar. Brisbane have conceded an average of three goals per game this season, while Melbourne have looked strong in both attack and defence despite some tough games to open the campaign. In what should be a comfortable win for the home side, take the handicap of -1 at handy odds of $2.60 at Neds.

Adelaide United vs Western United

Saturday, November 9 – 7:05pm ACDT – Coopers Stadium

After their 4-3 victory over the Wanderers last Saturday, expect another exciting performance from Adelaide United. Facing the winless Western United, there should be plenty of chances — particularly for Reds striker Luka Jovanovich. The 19-year-old has scored in both games so far and is the leading candidate to find the back of the net again.

Central Coast Mariners vs Wellington Phoenix

Sunday, November 10 – 4pm AEDT – Industree Group Stadium

Despite being the two best sides in the A-League last season, the Mariners and Phoenix have combined for just one win so far. The Mariners have drawn all three of their games and have struggled to hit the scoreboard, scoring just once. While the Phoenix have been more unpredictable, their defence has been strong, so expect this to be a low-scoring affair.

Sydney FC vs Macarthur FC

Sunday, November 10 – 6pm AEDT – Allianz Stadium

Despite high expectations this season, Sydney FC are yet to put together a dominant performance. They are clear favourites against Macarthur FC, but the Sky Blues have not kept a clean sheet this season, which suggests there is value in backing both teams to score.

Perth Glory vs Melbourne City FC

Sunday, November 10 – 5:45pm AWST – HBF Park

As the betting favourites to win the wooden spoon, it looks set to be another tough week for Perth Glory. They hold the worst defensive and attacking records in the A-League and now welcome Melbourne City, one of the favourites to win the title. While City have been uninspiring so far, they should be too strong on this occasion.
