Adelaide United vs Brisbane Roar

While Adelaide United’s form has been worrying, they have a great chance to jump back into the top two with a win against the last-placed Brisbane Roar. Adelaide have a much more dynamic attack, while they should be far too good on their home deck. However, United have kept just one clean sheet in their last 11 games, so it’s worth adding both teams to score for boosted odds of $2.60 with leading A-League bookies.

Western United vs Wellington Phoenix

Saturday, March 8 – 6pm AEDT – Ironbark Fields

Sitting second on the A-League ladder, Western United are expected to continue their strong form against the 11th-placed Phoenix. Given that Wellington have conceded seven goals in their last two games, watch out for United striker Noah Botic to continue his good form. Botic is the A-League’s leading scorer and offers good value to find the back of the net at $2.25 with top bookmaker Neds.

Melbourne Victory vs Central Coast Mariners

On a run of eight games without a win, expect the Mariners’ poor form to continue as they head to Melbourne to face the Victory. Playing against one of the worst attacking sides, back the Victory to keep a clean sheet.

Newcastle Jets vs Auckland FC

Sunday, March 9 – 5:00pm AEDT – McDonald Jones Stadium

In a clash between two of the A-League’s form sides, top-placed Auckland FC face a tricky trip to Newcastle. Despite sitting ninth, the Jets are undefeated in their last five games as they make a late charge for the finals spots. While beating Auckland might be tough, Newcastle’s attack has been hard to stop, so back this game to have plenty of scoring.
