Melbourne Victory vs Wellington Phoenix

Wellington Phoenix have won just one of their last six games, falling to 10th on the A-League ladder. Melbourne Victory haven’t been much better, and after losing 3-0 to the 11th-placed Jets, their place in the finals positions is under major threat. Melbourne City vs Perth Glory

Having lost their last three matches, Melbourne City need to turn their season around quickly, and they won’t get a better chance than against the 12th-placed Perth Glory. With a collective 13-0 scoreline from their last two meetings, expect City to get right back on track with a comfortable win.

Western United vs Auckland FC

Saturday, February 15 – 6pm AEDT – Ironbark Fields

Undefeated in their last four games, league leaders Auckland FC are in tremendous form. Even so, they enter as slight underdogs this week against Western United, who have lost just one of their last 10 matches. However, United have conceded multiple goals in five of their last six, and against the best defence in the A-League, it will be hard for their attack to keep up.

Adelaide United vs Newcastle Jets

Saturday, February 15 – 7:05pm ACDT – Coopers Stadium

With a chance to push up the ladder, Adelaide United enter as strong favourites against the 11th-placed Newcastle Jets. While the home side offer little value straight-up, it is worth noting that they have just one clean sheet in their last eight. Meanwhile, the Jets have scored in each of their last 10 outings, so add both teams to score for extra value.

Western Sydney Wanderers vs Macarthur FC

Sunday, February 16 – 5pm AEDT – CommBank Stadium

In a clash between two of the A-League’s top-scoring teams, expect plenty of goals from both sides. Both sides have been incredibly inconsistent this season, so backing an outright result is tough. Each of their last seven meetings has had at least four goals, so back the trend to continue.
