Week Two kicks off with a blockbuster clash between the Melbourne Storm and the Sydney Roosters.
The Melbourne Storm will be without the services of Xavier Coates and Ryan Papenhuyzen due to injuries. Trent Loiero’s status is uncertain after a head injury, but Reimis Smith, Grant Anderson, and Justin Olam are potential replacements in the lineup. Expect Melbourne to bolster their forward pack with Nelson Asofa-Solomona to avoid getting bullied like last week.
The Sydney Roosters face their own challenges, missing key players Joseph Manu, Joseph Suaalii, and Billy Smith due to injuries. Corey Allan and Drew Hutchison are likely to step in to fill the gaps. Egan Butcher should retain his starting spot, with Fletcher Baker coming off the bench.
In the early prediction, with both teams missing key players, look to take the Sydney Roosters on the line at +10.5 points. The Roosters have the ability to win this however if they don’t you can expect it to be a close scoring game.
Sydney Roosters +10.5

The New Zealand Warriors and Newcastle Knights are set to clash in an exciting showdown.
The New Zealand Warriors are hopeful that Shaun Johnson will return from a calf injury, strengthening their halfback position. Dylan Walker may shift to the bench if Johnson is fit. No other major changes are expected in the Warriors lineup.
The Newcastle Knights face the loss of Jackson Hastings, who is dealing with an ankle injury. Adam Clune is likely to step into the halves. Lachlan Fitzgibbon’s shoulder injury could keep him out, opening the door for Brodie Jones to start. Kalyn Ponga, recovering from an AC joint injury, should play but will be monitored for any delayed concussion symptoms.
With the teams not being announced as of yet and the top NRL bookmakers offering the Newcastle Knights, who are currently on a 10-win streak it is very hard to not back them at the +145 on offer.
Newcastle Knights to win
