Bookies with Melbourne Cup odds boost

Melbourne Cup boosted odds promotions Australia

Australian bookies have been moving onto other ways to entice players to sign up with them, with the pending demise of the sign up bonus.

One of the biggest changes has been the introduction of enhanced odds or odds boosts, which allow the punter to increase the odds of a selected runner, or selected runners on race days.

Each bookies’ offering varies slightly, but this is what is one offer on Melbourne Cup day (November 7).

William Hill Price Pump

This is the newest product on the market and allows Hills’ clients to place a wager at enhanced odds.

It is only available on selected single fixed odds win racing bets, that you must place via the website or app.

The price escalation is decent but we have noted some fancied runners, may not get the same boost as other runners in the same race.

You also cannot use it in conjunction with any other offers.

Sportsbet odds boost

Has truly taken the racing industry by storm, with Australia’s biggest bookie offering one odds boost per day, that can be used on the Melbourne Cup.

On Cox Plate day, Sportsbet offered double odds boosts, and it’s likely the bookie will do this on Cup day as well, traditionally one of the toughest days of the year for Cup punters.

Ladbrokes enhanced odds

While Ladbrokes has not yet indicated whether it will have enhanced odds on the Melbourne Cup, recent history suggest they will with this promotion running, with it already penned in for Saturday’s Victoria Derby.

It’s important to note that Ladbrokes accepts a maximum $100 wager on enhanced odds bet and it must be used on a win bet.

You can also only use odds boosts with your own cash, not with a bonus amount secured from Ladbrokes.

Crownbet odds boost

Boosting your odds at Crownbet is done by wagering your Crownbet Rewards points on the race as well. The best part being that you can use all of your rewards points to increase the odds by as much as you want.

The downside to this is you don’t always have an odds boost available, the first time you bet for the day. It will depend on how many points you have earned.
