Adelaide Oval will host the AFL‘s biggest bloodbath of 2018 between the Carlton Blues and the Adelaide Crows.

If there’s any favourite you would put the house on this round, it’s going to be the Crows.

Adelaide is travelling very smoothly after its last two wins against the Swans in Sydney and the Gold Coast at home.

Carlton set a new club record last week by having the worst start to a season since its establishment in 1864. Never before have the Blues gone 0-6, an alarming statistic that has even the most patient Carlton supporters concerned about the speed of the club’s list rebuild.

Bryce Gibbs will face his old club for the first time since transitioning over to South Australia in the summer. Bryce expects a heated contest but will pull no punches against the youth of the Blues.

Adelaide captain Taylor Walker will miss due to a hamstring strain last week, but considering Carlton will still be without star ruckman Matt Kreuzer and club captain Marc Murphy, Adelaide will be able to cope with the loss of Tex.
