Saturday, 30th June, 4:35 pm AEST, 2018, Adelaide Oval, Watch on the Fox Footy Network

The West Coast Eagles will make the trip to Adelaide Oval this Saturday to take on the Adelaide Crows.

Neither club has recorded a win in the last few weeks and both will be keen to turn around their recent form.

The Eagles lost to the Bombers last week by 28 points, but it could have been much worse — at halftime the scoreboard read 8-52. There’s no doubting it was the Eagles’ most disappointing performance of the season.

The Adelaide Crows have played very average football throughout the year, mainly because of injury.

This week a lot of those injured troops will make a return. Rory Sloane, Rory Laird and Tom Lynch will add experience and class – but have they come back too late to save the season?

West Coast head Coach Adam Simpson will once again be without his dynamic duo up forward, Jack Darling and Josh Kennedy. The omission of these two power forwards have drastically changed the way the Eagles play football.

This match will be one to keep an eye on, here’s our tips for the upcoming match.

Adelaide Crows vs. West Coast Eagles Round 15 – Total Goals Tips

Adelaide Crows 12.5 Goals Over/Under

Over @ $1.76 with Sportsbet

The Adelaide Crows have so many key inclusions to the side, giving us confidence of an improved showing. The inclusion of Rory Sloane will boost the midfield class and decision making, which leads to more forward entries and scoring opportunities.

West Coast Eagles 10.5 Goals Over/Under

Under @ $2.07 with Sportsbet

Who is going to kick the goals when there is no defined forward? West Coast will be without the three most experienced players in its forward 50, Josh Kennedy, Jack Darling and of course the Frenchman, Marc LeCras. From what we saw last week, the Eagles were bereft of talent, which was evident as they only kicked one goal in the first half against the Bombers. Adelaide contains a far greater backline then the Bombers, meaning they will be able to hold off the Eagles under 11 goals.

Adelaide Crows vs. West Coast Eagles Round 15 – Player Specials Tips

Elliot Yeo to get 25 touches @ $1.60 with William Hill

Elliot has put together a brilliant stint of football so far this season. If anyone in the Eagles’ midfield is capable of gaining ascendancy over the Crows midfield it is Yeo. Last week Yeo played very well and was able to hold his head high in a team that was very poor. With Nic Nat palming the ball down, Yeo has a greater chance of finding plenty of the footy.

Hugh Greenwood to lay 6 tackles @ $1.60 with William Hill

One of our personal favourites, Hugh Greenwood is an up and coming star. The basketballer-turned-football-gun has taken all the right steps on his way to becoming a quality inside midfielder. One of Greenwood’s strengths is his ability to not only lay multiple tackles, but to stick them too. When he matches head to head with the hard-nosed Eagle midfield, he will have a plethora of opportunities to lay his six tackles.

Adelaide Crows vs. West Coast Eagles Round 15 – Margin Tip

Adelaide Crows to Win by 20 – 29 Points @ $7.25 with Ladbrokes

With such a huge discrepancy between the health of each side in favour of the Crows, we think they will not only win, but do so by a fair margin. We looked at the margin odds and decided this bracket had the best value and was the most likely to occur.

Crows vs. Eagles Match Predictions

Match Result: Adelaide Crows to win @ $1.51 with CrownBet
Line Betting: Adelaide Crows -12.5 @ $1.92 with CrownBet

The Crows have the better inclusions and are playing at their prized stadium, which has always been regarded as one of the toughest trips in footy. If the Eagles were at full strength we would have definitely considered tipping them to win, but for this week’s match it has to be the Crows.
