Some of our game’s classiest players will make their return to the field this week for both sides. Collingwood bring back the elusive Daniel Wells, who will bring a touch of poise to the Collingwood midfield and forward line.

Geelong has bought back the little master Gary Ablett Jr for the clash, finally recovering from the hamstring injury he sustained in round three. Alongside Ablett is full back Harry Taylor who has surprised many by returning ahead of time. Taylor will be a crucial asset this week as he will be given the job to stop Collingwood‘s big American, Mason Cox.

Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury was forced to sit out of the match last week against Brisbane after suffering a serious ankle knock. Scans during the week have revealed no major damage and Pendlebury is still a chance to play. Even though he has been named in the final 22, the Magpies will take no chances if anything is wrong come game day.

The match-up between the Cats and Pies has been one to watch over the last few seasons. Despite it’s lowly ladder position in recent times, Collingwood has won three of the last four.
