Chautauqua again fails to leave barrier
Chautauqua’s career is now almost certainly over after he again failed to jump from the barrier in a special trial at Moonee Valley.
The grey needed to pass his second consecutive test but stood flat-footed in the gate to the disappointment of the fans.
The winner of six Group One races, Chautauqua has won more than $8.8 million.
